Job Details

  • Job Title: Sales Executive – Solar Projects
  • Job Location: Ahmedabad (with field travel across Gujarat/India as required)
  • Office Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday, with lunch and other breaks as per company policy
  • Number of Vacancies: 5 (Five)
  • Experience Required: 2–3 years in B2C Solar Sales / B2B Solar Project Sales / Renewable Energy Sales
  • Educational Qualification:
    • Graduation in Engineering / Commerce / Marketing or equivalent
    • MBA in Sales/Marketing preferred

Job Purpose / Summary

The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving B2C and B2B solar project sales through lead generation, customer meetings, dealer/distributor management, and closing deals. This role requires a proactive approach to identify new opportunities, build strong client relationships, and achieve revenue targets in both the residential rooftop and commercial/industrial solar project segments.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and approach potential B2C customers (homeowners, SMEs, institutions).
  • Develop B2B relationships with EPC contractors, traders, OEMs, and industrial clients.
  • Leverage digital marketing leads, exhibitions, and references for business opportunities.

2. Sales & Business Development

  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and site visits for clients.
  • Prepare and share quotations, proposals, and commercial offers.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contracts to close sales deals.

3. Dealer & Channel Management (B2B)

  • Engage with distributors, dealers, and channel partners.
  • Ensure product visibility, promotion, and sales growth across regions.
  • Collect market feedback and competitor intelligence.

4. Customer Relationship & Retention (B2C)

  • Guide customers through the complete solar project sales process (survey to proposal).
  • Build trust by explaining technical/financial benefits of solar solutions.
  • Ensure post-sales support and satisfaction.

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Maintain accurate sales data in Odoo ERP/CRM.
  • Share daily/weekly sales reports with the management.
  • Coordinate with purchase, logistics, and accounts for order execution.

Skills & Competencies
