Job Details
- Job Title: Solar Project Engineer
- Job Location: Ahmedabad (with PAN India project travel as required)
- Office Hours: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday to Saturday, with lunch and other breaks as per company policy
- Number of Vacancies: 1 (One)
- Experience Required: 4–5 years in Solar EPC Projects / Renewable Energy / Electrical Project Execution

Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Renewable Energy Engineering
- Certification in Solar PV Design / AutoCAD / Project Management preferred
Job Purpose / Summary
The Solar Project Engineer will be responsible for end-to-end project execution including design validation, site surveys, material planning, installation supervision, quality assurance, and project handover. The role requires strong technical knowledge of solar power systems and the ability to coordinate between clients, vendors, contractors, and the internal team to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and as per quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Project Design & Planning
- Review and validate solar PV system designs (ACDB/DCDB, protection devices, switchgear, cables, etc.)
- Conduct feasibility studies and site surveys.
- Prepare BOM (Bill of Material) and ensure alignment with project scope.
2. Project Execution & Supervision
- Supervise installation of modules, inverters, AC/DC protection systems, and cabling.
- Monitor contractor/vendor work and ensure adherence to drawings, safety, and standards.
- Conduct pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
3. Quality & Compliance
- Ensure all installations meet MNRE, IEC, CEI, and DISCOM guidelines.
- Conduct safety checks, insulation resistance testing, and system performance verification.
4. Coordination & Reporting
- Coordinate with sales, purchase, and logistics teams for timely material supply.
- Prepare daily/weekly project progress reports for management and clients.
- Liaise with customers, consultants, and government authorities as required.
5. Post-Installation Support
- Handover projects with proper documentation and training to clients.
- Assist in warranty claims and after-sales service support.

- Problem-solving, time management, and coordination skills
- Strong written & verbal communication for client/vendor interaction
Reporting & Team Management
- Reports To: General Manager / Project Head
- Coordinates With: Sales Team, Purchase & Supply Chain Team, Logistics, Vendors, and Contractors
- Manages: Site Supervisors / Technicians (as assigned per project)

- MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, MS Project)
