As an Odoo Functional Consultant at MY SOLAR, you will lead the implementation, customization, and optimization of the Odoo ERP system across all departments. You will be responsible for gap analysis, data migration, user training, cross-departmental coordination, and reporting automation to ensure seamless ERP usage and business process improvement.

Key Responsibilities
ERP Implementation and Configuration
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of Odoo ERP across all business functions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Configure Odoo modules, workflows, and dashboards to match the company’s specific processes and operational requirements.
- Perform comprehensive testing of configurations and customizations, ensuring error-free deployment.
- Document and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones for ERP implementation.
Migration and Data Management
- Plan and execute data migration from legacy systems to Odoo, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Develop and oversee data mapping and transformation strategies.
- Validate migrated data through rigorous testing and perform corrections as needed.
- Ensure seamless integration of Odoo with existing tools and third-party systems.
Gap Analysis and Requirement Gathering
- Collaborate with department heads (Sales, Finance, HR, Operations, Inventory) to identify business needs and process gaps.
- Conduct in-depth gap analysis to compare current workflows with Odoo's capabilities.
- Provide actionable recommendations to address process inefficiencies and bridge gaps through Odoo customization.
- Document detailed functional requirements and collaborate with the technical team for development.
User Training and Support
- Design and deliver tailored training sessions to employees across departments for efficient use of Odoo ERP.
- Develop comprehensive user guides, training manuals, and SOPs for all Odoo modules.
- Provide ongoing user support to resolve issues, address queries, and ensure user adoption.
- Monitor employee proficiency with Odoo and schedule follow-up training sessions as required.
Collaboration and Cross-Departmental Coordination
- Act as a liaison between departments to ensure smooth collaboration and communication during ERP implementation.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to gather requirements, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery.
- Work with the technical team to customize Odoo features based on departmental feedback.
System Optimization and Continuous Improvement
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate business processes using Odoo's advanced functionalities.
- Stay updated with Odoo’s latest versions, features, and industry best practices to enhance the ERP system.
- Provide recommendations for system upgrades, customizations, or new module integrations to improve efficiency.
Performance Monitoring and Maintenance
- Regularly monitor system performance to ensure optimal functionality and uptime.
- Identify and troubleshoot technical issues in coordination with Odoo vendors/partners.
- Plan and manage version upgrades, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Establish regular audits to verify data accuracy, system security, and process compliance.
Reporting and Analytics
- Design and implement automated reporting tools for real-time insights across departments.
- Collaborate with department heads to create dashboards and KPIs tailored to business goals.
- Ensure reports are accurate, accessible, and align with strategic objectives.
